Ticketless, hassle-free, and fully automated parking system is now in place in some areas in Dubai. No waiting, no tickets; just drive in, park, and drive out. The sensors and on-ground cameras capture the vehicle licence plate and determine the corresponding parking fees to be paid.
Khaleej Times tried on Wednesday the advanced parking system implemented on the East Crescent of the Palm Jumeirah, between Rixos and Anantara hotels. Paid parking has been enforced since 2022 and cashless parking metres were previously installed.
