Mariah Carey will return to Abu Dhabi on December 12, 2026, with her festive concert production, Mariah Carey’s Christmastime, scheduled at Etihad Arena on Yas Island. Tickets start at AED 249, according to the venue’s official booking page.
The Saturday performance will bring Carey’s Christmas repertoire and well-known pop hits to the UAE capital during the busy year-end entertainment season. The show’s programme is advertised as combining seasonal favourites with music from her wider career.
The concert is being organised by Theory Eleven Entertainment in partnership with the Department of Culture and Tourism – Abu Dhabi and Miral, according to ARN News Centre.
Tickets, prices and venue details
The concert will take place at Etihad Arena, the indoor entertainment venue on Yas Island. The official ticketing page lists several seating categories, with standard prices starting at AED 249.
Prices vary by section and aisle seating. Some listed categories cost considerably more, so concertgoers should check the live booking page before making plans.
The venue also sets out practical conditions for attendees. Children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult aged 21 or older, while children aged two and under may attend without a separate ticket if they remain on a parent’s or guardian’s lap. All other guests require a valid ticket.
Etihad Arena advises visitors to download their digital tickets to their mobile devices before arriving. Its published entry policy also states that guests cannot re-enter the venue after leaving. Fans with accessibility requirements can contact the arena’s concierge team for information about accessible seating.
Tickets and the latest event information are available through the official Etihad Arena booking page.
Why Mariah Carey’s Christmas music remains popular
Carey’s association with the festive season is closely linked to All I Want for Christmas Is You, released in 1994 on her album Merry Christmas. The song has become a recurring fixture of holiday playlists and seasonal music charts.
Her catalogue extends well beyond Christmas music. Songs such as Hero, Fantasy and We Belong Together have helped establish her position as one of the most recognisable performers in contemporary pop and R&B.
Carey has won five Grammy Awards and was inducted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame in 2022. Her career spans more than three decades, giving the Abu Dhabi performance a broader appeal than a seasonal concert alone.
The December show also follows her appearance at Abu Dhabi’s Saadiyat Nights concert series in February 2026. Her return to the capital gives UAE audiences another opportunity to see the American singer perform live this year.
A busy December for Abu Dhabi entertainment
Carey’s concert joins a wider programme of music and live entertainment scheduled in Abu Dhabi towards the end of 2026. Yas Island, in particular, is preparing for a busy December, with concerts and other major events listed across the month.
For residents and visitors planning a night out, the main details to confirm are the ticket category, final price, entry conditions and arrangements for reaching Yas Island. Buying through the official venue is also the safest way to check availability and avoid unauthorised resale offers.
With the date and venue confirmed, fans can plan ahead for December 12. The final cost will depend on the seats selected and any additional arrangements made for the evening.
